And so I read Cozy's for a long time because they did bring a lot of comfort to me and they fit in really well with the life that I was living.
But I was also very much like, Oh, is this gonna be the way it is forever?
Well an another thing that we hear all the time is from people who are like, I'm in school.
I'm in college and I just I can't read.
And and so when I was in college but for a very few
kind of discrete periods of time.
I again getting my degree in English, I remember really clearly being like, I do remember I used to like to read, but like in my free time you couldn't have paid so you couldn't have paid me to read.
So for a lot of people I know when they're going to something stressful or in those new mom years, but when they're also in school, like reading just goes away for a
long time and it like feels like, oh no, you know, have I lost it?
Right.
You were reading good books and you were reading a lot of them, but then there was a there was kind of a But my mental health was suffering.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Not because of it, but they were like a coping mechanism.
You know, there's also on the flip side, there's also some reading seasons that they're reading seasons that take us out of books, then there's reading seasons that bring us new kinds of reading that we've never done before.
Like we talked last week about reading poetry.
I was 51 years old when I started reading poetry in any real way or high fantasy just in the last couple of years.
Right.
Like and so like new kinds of reading can come to us at different seasons of our life.
So whatever reading you're doing right now or lack of it doesn't at all
