My nonfiction has ebbed and flowed.
When we first started the show, I think twenty five percent of my reading was nonfiction.
And then I've had years over the last couple of years where I had like less than five percent of my reading.
And again, it just ebbs and flows depending on what we need for it to be.
And I think, you know, we just not forcing it is key.
Yeah, absolutely.
In general, though, I think if we can accept these different seasons, what I think if you're listening to us, what we know for sure is
For whatever reason, when all of us who are talking and listening right now were born, we were lined up and given this gift of the love of reading, right?
Some of us maybe found it when we were really young.
Some of us maybe discovered it later.
But either way, we got this love of reading.
And I think of it like it's like a gift that we were given that can't be taken away by having a new baby.
Or being in grad school, going through a season of grief.
Reading is always going to be yours, no matter what it looks like right now.
It will always be there for you.
And so that's the message that I always want to give to myself when I go through those periods of time and then to any reader who's like,
I'm so unsettled by the season that I'm in right now.
Your reading will always be there for you.
Yeah.
