My father passed away a long time ago.

He passed away 25 years ago.

So not long after I moved out, five years after.

And she was the most influential person in my life, my grandmother.

From little, little kids, she was just the most wonderful grandmother ever.

And she felt so sad that my dad was the way he was.

She obviously didn't know what to do, but she was a very spiritual person.

And I used to call her and be like, grandma, like, this is so bad.

And she used to say, honey, I know.
