So basically what we saw was all progress on the floor stalled for the better part of 12 hours, while Speaker Johnson and the White House and a number of Johnson's top allies tried to get the votes they needed because they don't want to bring this bill to a vote without voting.
having the votes to pass it right so yeah um we saw that process wrap itself up um in theory around like 2 a.m and then practice around 3 30 a.m part of the problem i just think this is a great detail but um to show you how important every vote is part of the problem was that scott perry who's a member of the house freedom caucus he actually went home at one point um according to johnson he was on a family trip because remember the house was supposed to be off this week as yeah and
