I don't know how many of you guys have seen this at an art show and seen his artwork, but he creates therapeutic drums out of recycled propane tapes.

And, you know, for a long time, if a propane tank came in and it was dented, it was a problem.

So it would get discarded and set aside.

And they were a little bit harder to work with, right, to tune.

And they took more time to design and build.

But Jonathan knew that there was something there still of value.

And so at one point in time, he looked at them and he saw something different.

He realized there was something special about those dented ones.

And so instead of throwing them away, he began turning them into wall art.

You guys, it's so beautiful.

He spends more time with these pieces and he works with those dents instead of pretending that they're not there and trying to cover them up.

And so when he's finished,

They're not just a leftover piece or damaged pieces.

They're a masterpiece.

He takes these and turns them into special things because of the damage that's been done to them.

I hope you guys are hearing what I'm trying to say.

So in the end, they end up becoming more valued two to three, maybe even four times more.

The cost of that original piece would have been worth.

Right.

And that makes me think about that Japanese art, Kintsugi.
