I just think that this won't work for us, and I would like to see us continue the path that we've already started.

The first thing I want to mention is, and my colleagues, Commissioner Davis and Commissioner Rogers were there, the Alcee Hastings exhibit grand opening at the Broward County African American Library and Cultural Center.

It was amazing.

Just a lot of people there that go back a long way with the Congressman.

I kind of count myself among those people.

And he was definitely recognized as a man of the people, which he was, a champion of civil rights and social justice, and really advocating for the state's most, I guess, marginalized communities.

Um, and, um, I, I, I do want to thank, um, Alison Grubbs and her team.

And it was a wonderful exhibit.
