So this comes from a survey in 2022 by the campaign group Rebuild General Practice, who say they represent GPs across Britain.
They surveyed about 1,300 GPs and asked them the following question.
As you probably spotted, the question specifically asked about general practice workers who had taken their own lives, not GPs.
GPs actually make up about a quarter of all staff working in general practice.
There are many thousands of nurses, receptionists, healthcare assistants, managers too.
That's right.
But it's not just the misquote that matters.
There are problems with the statistic itself.
