Yeah.

So, you know, in the book, I go to rehab and then I go down to Florida for a halfway house and I got a good year or so, you know, behind me and I was ready to go out there.

I went out there thinking, you know, I'm going to go to the University of Hawaii.

My friend from home, a girl that I used to cook with, she was now out there and

She had she was going to school there and she reached out to me.

It was like, you got to come.

It's amazing.

We're going to do great things.

And I thought I was I thought I was going to contribute to the society and, you know, go to college.

And there was just no chance.

And we don't we can't we can get better.

We can, you know, stop using the substance.

But until we really do the work of healing and we dig deep.

it's really hard for someone to not go back to the vices that kept them from their pain in the first place.

I think it would have been anything because, again, you're right exactly if we don't do the work.

And that is a term that people use and it's important to do that.

So, you know, I think that I would have eventually, you know, done it anyway.

But the first night I got there, there was a party.

I'm supposed to live in this apartment on Cala Cala Ave, right in Waikiki, right by the beach.

And I get there and it's wall to wall with people and they're partying and the drugs are out and
