He's five.

That's Evan, almost two.

They're playing in the front yard of Gobler's four-bedroom house.

So she got her family.

But there's no husband in the picture.

Her journey started after a breakup with a long-term boyfriend.

She wanted kids.

He didn't.

Her first aha moment, though, came when she was hanging out with her girlfriends, playing a game around the fire pit, asking one question.

And then she had a second aha moment, and that came soon after.

And that's when it dawned on her.

You know, she realized she didn't need a boyfriend or a partner or, frankly, even a man or a husband to have that family that she wanted badly.

Immediately after that, she started looking for a sperm donor.

And that's how she had Caleb and Evan.

And today, you know, that extreme athlete, she is busy running around chasing her two boisterous boys.

That's right, Aisha.

You know, many of these women I spoke to said making this choice to have children on their own also helped them get it together.

You know, you can't return a baby to a store.

They know that.

It is such a big step.
