And I was like, yeah, this is the thing I need now to fix me instead of drink, because when I start drinking, that's when all the real problems go.

And I'd fall into that loop of doing that for so long and then there'd be no smoke there.

And I might last two or three days and I'd be like, oh my God, I need something, I need something.

I'd start drinking.

And then that would fall into the cycle of all that.

I could be there six, seven years at that stage.

Wow.

I wasn't comfortable, you know what I mean, that's for sure.

It was an absolute balancing act of how am I going to survive today to this evening?

How am I going to get out the door and buy bottles?

How am I going to get them back and not be seen?

How am I going to hide all that?

How am I like...

And in all that time, I was still like, I couldn't be like, I need help here.

I need help here.

I couldn't.

Yeah, I couldn't.

It was just like, as in, right, so I... Because the thing is, I went to New Zealand after there was no work here, in that mentality.

I made the decision of going over there thinking, this is my life now.

I'm not coming back.
