So that's a good part about it.

But yes, that's the easiest way in because everybody knows someone within this industry with whom they haven't been speaking for a while.

And it's a small industry, so for sure have friends from game jams, from university if you attended that or whatever else that you haven't had chatted with.

So that's a very good point of static.

It does.

And I will double down on that.

Because one of the things that I'm also also teaching and saying that it's, it doesn't really matter who you know, but it matters more who knows you.

Because also the opportunities that you get, and it also happens, I wouldn't say it a lot of times, it happens fairly often, that if you actually have a decent relationships, and we are not talking about thousands of relationships, we are not talking LinkedIn connections or anything, we are talking like really meaningful connections with people in the industry.

when there will be a position that you might be a fit for there is a very good chance that your name will pop up to someone in that room with whom you have a relationship for this exact role this is like i landed my geek my recruiter my recruiter geek in rage quit games before my time i take beat this is how i landed it

is I went to the party where the company founder was there, basically.

And we just chatted about games.

I didn't even know that he was a company founder at that point.

Oh, no, I knew that he was a company founder, but they did not really look for a recruiter or anyone else.

and we just chatted and we just chatted about games about market he showed me the build that they had recently and all this stuff and because we get really excited about games this is where we like this is where the conversation ended but couple of days ago they were like dude because you've talked about the market and some very relevant things we are kind of thinking about bringing on the recruiter anyway would you like to come for a conversation

And it was and this is a lot of and I have a lot of stories like that from people with whom I speaking with that they met someone on the event or they just hanged out or they went to the lake again.

It's not a requirement, but

like socializing is a big part of just creating those networks so going to the parties or like being where people are or the people that you just like to hang out with you don't even have to it's not it's a right it's a wrong wording you don't approach this with this neediness mindset that you would like something in return you just are curious about people interested with hanging out with them you just hang out with them and then if you do that

The answer here will be it depends.

I cannot answer yes or no when it comes to dependency because what I can tell is it's again, it's a signal amplifier.
