We'll get into some of this in the next segment, but there are various ways that we can guide conversations to topics that are more rather than less likely to create connection.

And I think, too, it's worth considering the possibility that we could be compatible with more people than we realize if we had enough time with them.

And I'm fond of pointing out that, you know, when we were all getting together on the African savanna 100,000 or a million years ago, you actually didn't have that many options.

Yet you were going to get to know these people over time and that at least afford some opportunities to find compatibility with one person.

Sometimes that's all it takes.

I think you would have been the entertainment in the evenings.
