And so that was basically the challenge I said.
We must be able to do a better job than Nova.
It can't be that hard to do this.
And uh that was a couple of years ago.
And y you were a little bit skeptical, weren't you, Sarah?
always knew that you that's what you always say, so I kept persisting.
And eventually.
Yeah, you did it.
And the eating rate was a bit of a combination of two things, wasn't it?
It was like the density of the food.
And the speed at which you can consume it.
What I think was really fascinating from uh the research that we ended up doing was seeing this top high-risk group, which I think was about twenty-five percent of uh of the foods uh that had all these ingredients.
You know, they the manufacturers had thrown everything at it, all the things that make us overeat and buy more of their product.
And
They were the ones that seemed to have the all the harmful effects clustered into them so that they're the ones we should be focusing on.
So rather than trying to cut out sixty percent of our food.
You know, if we focused on that twenty-five percent, get rid of them out of schools, got rid of them out of hospitals, you know, put warning labels on them, we'd be so much better off than trying to sort of muddy the water and think about everything.
And what I also like was we did some microbiome analysis, didn't we?
That's just come through recently uh and showed that the big microbe effects are again in that top group.
not in the lower risk ones.
