I would say no.
I am saying wait and save only because when they talked about what's important to them, they said they didn't want a mortgage of more than 700 grand.
Yeah, which is bigger than they want to go to.
I'm going to disagree with you because I think if you get that bigger house and you're going to have a mortgage of $935,000, you are going to spend $56,000 a year just on interest, just on interest to hold that mortgage where right now you're only paying about $19,000 in interest and you're smashing it because you can reduce it so much.
I just feel like with their goals, upsizing now, and this is someone who gets paid on the size of their mortgage, I would say no.
I wonder what.
Not that it's up to me.
I'll do the numbers and let you choose.
Because I think they've done their budget.
And if I was on a joint income of $300,000.
Yeah, but if you put an extra $40,000 into interest, that changes very quickly.
I think on $300,000 joint, $935,000 is a really big mortgage.
I like the course that they're on.
I'm not talking numbers.
And if they hadn't said the statement, we don't want to hold a mortgage bigger than $600,000 or $700,000, I'd be on board.
Well, I'm really keen to hear what everyone else said.
Yeah, but people talk about, I hear all this thing about premium assets and what's the better asset.
At the end of the day, you've got to have a budget that's comfortable for you and your family.
Yeah, but $56,000 a year just in interest when you're on $300,000 a year, that's extraordinary.
Yeah.
