It was used to be all volunteer based and now we have one

halftime paid position that coordinates all these 36 volunteers.

So it's still mostly volunteer-based.

And they're responsible or they've taken on the task of creating a really thorough database.

So that's also on our website that anybody can, anybody from the public can access that is like a very up-to-date record of where any kind of mental health services, I think it's Alberta-wide, not just Edmonton, can access and then a lot of specific sub

about like, you know, what the times are, what the specialty populations are.

So that, and they also have navigators.

So you can book a time with a mental health co-pilot and they will listen to your needs, do an intake, and then walk you through how to find the right service for you.

So it's like a a kind of an in-depth kind of referral handoff.

uh service that we provide.

And it just it is very complementary to Momentum's other work because there are times when we can't meet the need and then we want to know that those people were served elsewhere in the way that they needed instead of just sent, you know, like, oh, try over here or try over there.

And then they go somewhere else and also get turned away.

And that's really hard when you're when you're struggling.

So momentum has historically relied on large grants from from various levels of government.

So we we receive funding from our municipal government, from the

From not from the federal government as much, I don't think.

Provincial government has supported us quite a bit over the years.

And then occasionally from some of the larger like foundations in the area, but it's been pretty much, I'm gonna say, almost exclusively grant-based.
