You don't think to drop them a message to check in how they are all the time.

And that can be the biggest limiter to having that large group of friends is that you're not, you know, everybody says, I'm always the one who's reaching out to you.

And it comes back to my dad.

I got a message as I was walking in this afternoon or this morning.

I was walking in.

I got a message from my daughter.

And she said, I hope you're sitting down.

I said, I'm not.

I'm walking.

Why?

She said, because grandpa messaged me without me messaging him first.

I said, well, I bet he talked about his COPD first though, didn't he?

And she said, no, he asked how we were, which is, you know, that is him saying,

being an 82 year old adhd who doesn't realize he is adhd um actually stretching beyond adhd and reaching out and seeing how somebody else is why do so many successful women with adhd secretly feel like they're failing this question is probably multi-layered um in the sense that

They could be successful at hiding their ADHD or successful in their role, their business, their entrepreneurship, whatever.

And the main...

kind of group of of ladies that i talk to on on a regular basis all over the world i've got a couple in australia and america that are you know in a in quite a struggling position but their their common theme is that they're in the same age range and they're in their kind of early 40s so they're hitting this kind of perimenopause bit and that's quite fundamental to to this kind of um this question and the response to this question in the sense that um estrogen is a dopamine enabler

So throughout their lives, women have these unpredictable hormone surges and drops and surges and drops.

And when their body is flooded with estrogen, their dopamine flies.

And they're almost, in a sense, neurotypical, I guess, in a lot of cases.
