And hundreds of people would show up because there was just so little opportunity to get community support.
And that was back in 1989.
That was the year that Becky and I got married.
And I remember the first annual Ventura Publisher User Conference
300 people showed up to the bloody thing.
It was incredible.
And that was the start.
A buddy said, well, you know, you should be doing this for PowerPoint.

He just kept nudging me.
And in 2003, with his help, we launched PowerPoint Live, is what it was called at the time, the Precursor's Representation Summit.
And that was 24 years ago.
He was right.
