I remember we did that mop-up yesterday. Yes. I... You forgot to... Forgot to post it. Really? Yeah, so this morning. God, I'm so proud of us. We had... Yeah. Dammit. But I blame Memorial Day. Hey, hey, what's going on? Rob and Rich are the kings of con. So...
Well, I try. You do? I think the record shows that I've put a lot of shoe leather into it. I've gotten some real... I one time made the mistake of reaching out to the whole band. That was a mistake. Because the band's a bunch of jerks. Because they gave you four different responses? No, because Norton just made fun of me. That's all he did. He didn't help. Right. Yeah. Yeah, Norton's going to make fun of you. Borja's going to say, you have a question about computers. I will defer to IT department. Borja gave the most...
Borja, uh, response to something the other day that I'm going to call him out on, uh, on live radio. Um, he, he, uh, we weren't on live radio. Now we're on live radio. You weren't live with Borja on the radio. That's you got to get them up there. Uh, we had a text going around and, uh,
I said... I think it was a music festival that Hank forwarded to me. You guys should play this. Maybe an Echo Park thing or something. So I forwarded the band. I was like, would you guys be up for playing this? And Borah said, if I'm available, I might be able to do it. It was almost like a double negative. You know what I mean? What does that mean, though? It means, if I'm available...
there might be a chance that maybe I could do it. It was just the most just like not yes, not no. It was like, there's a line in The Big Short, or I think it's called The Big Short, the movie with... The Robert Altman movie? No, no, no, no, no. Kevin Bacon. Kevin Bacon's a screenwriter.
That's funny. And you know it was improv because they didn't get him on camera saying it? No, no, no. It's on Martin Short. You know he's just making that up in the middle of the conversation. Oh, totally. Talking to Kevin Bacon and then just does something off camera. Totally, totally. You got to watch this documentary on him that's on Netflix right now. It is beautiful. Man, that guy's had a fucking journey. Dude, the loss he's experienced. Yeah. And you know, he had both of his parents died when he was young. I did not know that. His whole life.
And his attitude towards life is like, you've got to, you know, life is short. So you've got to keep, you know, just keep the joy going. Like, he's just an amazing person. And, yeah, keeps just so much loss. I'm not going to give anything away because I hate it when people say, you've got to see this documentary and then tell you all about it. But please go see it, everybody. And, Richard, please, first of all, stop watching your trash movies.
With your wife. What trans movie should I watch with my wife? Me and J.C. finally sat down to watch TV. I told you, dummy. And we watched the most horrible movie. Was I a New York Jewish mother when we had this conversation? You would do a better me than that. That's sorry. No, that was your level of sort of like angry. Do me, though. Do me angry. You can do me angry. Come on.
So J.C. and I, we sit down. We never do this. We never had any time to do this. We sat down to watch a movie. And do you know about this movie? Do you know about this movie? Oh, it's just the worst, horrible piece of garbage. Now, I'm doing this invitation of Richard to Richard on request. And the entire time, folks, he's looking off screen doing something else. Right, but I don't need to do that. I've seen it.
You're such a bastard. No, listen. Let's be honest about something. I'm right about the movie. The movie, okay, so. So talk about, I'm telling you something that happened off camera, because remember we didn't tell the mop-up people yet. Talk about your experience watching this movie that was so, it got five so-awfuls from Rich. It was that bad. Well, let me ask you this.
Well, I'll tell you, I will start my conversation. Remember when Kristen Wiig had that, like your Aunt Sue as the reviewer? She'd be like, I'm giving this movie a what?
It makes you think, right? No, I don't know what it makes you think. I know, it's weird. I just saw there was a new documentary about the cousin of, who was the guy, I don't think it's Dahmer, who was the guy who was kind of a good looking guy?
We watched the movie. It is a unwatchable piece of garbage. Have you seen it? No, but everything I'm reading about it is that exact same thing. Holy smokes. Is it even laughable bad? Could it be laughable bad eventually? You mean like so campy that it's shitty? Yeah, such a shitty movie that it's funny.
And anyway, so in the course of prepping for the wedding, and by the way, they're the wealthiest- He's so good. What? See, this movie, Good Time, he's so good. He plays the non-attractive guy and pulls it off in that movie. I'm sure, I'm saying, I don't blame his acting. I blame- No, no, no, I know you're not.
I want to see Surat I still want to see that movie That's the one movie of the last Oscars Wait say that again S-E-R I'm sorry S-E-R-A-T It's a foreign Documentary? No No it's supposed to be really great I heard about that I haven't seen it What nation did that? Um And Surat Country
Spanish, French. I don't know. It's both Spanish and French. But I think it takes place in Spain.
Okay. I'll buy that. Yeah. So anyway, but yeah, people say run, don't walk. But man, I loved getting that movie minute with Rich Spade. That was... And you are, as you know, holding me to a tight timeline because I could go off. I could go scene by scene. No, no, I mean, I think it's clear what, you know, with the report. That's...
That's what I love about it. That's what I love about a rich review. Either way, whether you like it or you don't like it, you're going to get a lot of that emotion. Well, I'm a man of highs and lows, Robbie. You are a man of highs and lows. For me, as your friend, I'm a sensitive type, so I'm almost averse to conflict sometimes. I either go...
I either lose my temper or whatever and go like, but mostly if someone's sort of shouting at me, I kind of like... So it makes me nervous. I guess this is what I'm getting at. Your reviews make me a little nervous. Why? Because you're like a pit bull sometimes. You really bark a lot. And so I go like, ugh. I'm like a pit bull? I'm an opinionated man. You are a very opinionated man, and your opinions come with a little bit of a bite. Ugh.
Oh, man, I was seeing that up. Got excited about that one. I thought it was great. That's such a Martin Short, Steve Martin joke at each other. Their jokes at each other are so funny. They do that back and forth. Yeah, like you and me. Steve Martin just posted a picture of him, Marty Short, and J.J. Abrams, which is wild to me, but having dinner together, and they're all, like, hands around each other, and Steve Martin was like, had a lovely dinner last night with J.J. Abrams and Unknown.
