Was it alarming to you that that number was so high when you found out about it?

Yeah, it it certainly alarmed me when I saw it.

Uh but then I was thinking back through it and it's like, Well, I remember coaching an under fourteen's team.

we're going back fifteen to twenty years ago now, uh, and there was a player that I had in my team as well that experienced that.

And I kinda went into this

I don't know what to do.

Like w who do I talk to about this?

What do I do I confront the coach of the other team?

Do I confront

Um, the tournament organizers, do I talk to the player directly?

And, you know, naive uh Rob of twenty something years ago went straight to the coach and sort of said, Look, this has happened

I'm only taking it on um another player's word in that it wasn't the player

That had been racially abused, that came to me, it was another player that heard it and said, Look, this has just happened.

Uh, I don't know what to do here.

Is there a little bit of a guide or a a process that that people can go through that do see or experience this?

Is because the last thing you want to do is escalate it to the point of tensions flare up and it's a worse experience.

But is there a good way to approach this?

Yep, 'cause there is that element of prevention and cure, obviously.

We don't want it to get to that point where we need the website, but you know, to this point we have to educate people and we have to try and find a better environment, I think, for everyone in that sort of space.
