And so I really encourage people to just keep living your life because these trolls are so, and I don't say that lightly because my trolls are so cruel and it absolutely gets to me.
It absolutely gets under my skin.
But then I remember they're lonely and they spend their valuable free time thinking about me.
What about them?
Those poor boys.
Now,
I actually care about every child and I want every child to receive an education that meets them where they're at, that allows them to learn how to think critically, that gives them the basic skills that they need to thrive, et cetera.
I think education is the most important thing that we do as a society, public education.
And so our boys being left behind is,
I don't know.
I think what we have seen is that women are leading, and that makes men feel inadequate.
Again, they're not being left behind.
They're doing what they were always doing, which is to say, in many cases, kind of the bare minimum because we have no expectations of them and because the world is set up for their success.
But when you start to invest in women, you see that you give women in general an opportunity and they are going to do incredible things with that opportunity.
Women are incredibly ambitious and incredibly savvy.
And when you finally invest in them, you can reap those rewards.
Mm-hmm.
And that's what we're seeing is that that's not men being left behind.
That's women succeeding.
And so when people rend their garments about boys being left behind, what they're really saying is I'm uncomfortable with women succeeding.
