So the ones we got on Friday were were sort of partial. matched

Um but what is really going to matter, I think, for central bankers is those second round price impacts. matched

And certainly here in Australia, you know, if our customer anecdotes are anything to go by, um, you know, these are going to be, I think, quite immediate and quite widespread. matched

Um and it was really interesting in our NAB business survey last week just to notice matched

um you know, the what we would call the the sort of product prices. matched

Uh so think of that as input prices, that measure jumped from matched

a quarterly rate of one point three last month to a quarterly rate of three. matched

So more than doubled. matched

So really big move in the space of of a month. matched

Um and so I think this is something that at least here in Australia, central bank officials are going to be watching very, very carefully. matched

So we haven't heard too much. matched

Um, although we did have a couple of senior officials um making some comments on Friday night. matched

They were over in uh Washington, DC, speaking on separate panels. matched

Um and so it's a bit hard to get the context because you only uh the RBA only puts up exactly what uh their own officials said. matched

Um so we don't really know what everyone else was saying or what the questions were. matched

But so we had Sarah Hunter, who's the the bank's chief matched

Economist and Andrew Hauser, the deputy governor. matched

And what I thought was interesting without sort of being too conspiratorial about it, was that that they both made similar points in their respective comments. matched

And those two points I think, you know, a little bit telling. matched
