Just simple things like so we put blindfolds on the kids and we get them to really be with the food, um, rather than just shoveling it in their mouth.

Because I mean, why do we do what we do when we know what we know?

We all kinda know that, but we're kinda stuck in this stressed out state and

I do get these questions a lot.

Uh look, it really depends on the child as well.

I find I had a lot of parents at one point, particularly if they had that freedom, they would start actually having dinner earlier and they would make proper dinner because kids are usually the hungriest when they get home from school.

Or before they go

whatever they have to do after school.

And that was where their main meal was at.

And that worked for them.

And they had this guilt of aren't we supposed to sit at the table like a family and have a proper meal?

And I'm like, you don't have to follow the norms.

You can do what works for your family as long as they feel loved and you're all happy and you're not going out of your mind trying to fit into the models.

Like that was often because quite often the most nutritious meal.

Of the day for many of us is dinner, right?

And so yeah, they were having a smaller portion before they went to bed, but then a bigger portion, um
