And so maybe that's something to look at to see.

Are there other cities doing things in certain ways where planning does not need to get involved and are there some best practices there that will eliminate that and reduce load as well?

On the similar lines, ministerial approvals, looking at other cities, what they do versus what we do and how we might look at ministerial approvals as a way to simplify as well.

So I would recommend if you do a follow-up survey to the applicants in particular and to residents to try and get AI to write the survey.

Because AI can be pretty good at this if you can particularly give it some prompts to look at how do you simplify this from the perspective of the applicant and from the perspective of residents as the stakeholders.

If they were the stakeholders, how would you simplify it and have AI write the survey?

Because this is a pet peeve of mine.

I see the surveys and I feel that didn't really ask the question if I were a resident or an applicant that I would like to see asked.

And so would love to see some objective

non-involved entity like an AI tool write the survey.

So just something to look at.

The other thing that I want to bring up is when I look at these permit streamlining efforts in progress, it may be worth looking at other things we should stop or deprioritize in order to focus on the things you need to do because there's so much ahead of you that you haven't even looked at yet because you don't have the applicant feedback and the resident feedback and maybe that wasn't the direction and we need to

either give you direction here or otherwise, but I would encourage looking at what you stop doing as one of the things to simplify as well.

And AI, you know, your benefits vary.

It may hallucinate, it may do whatever.

So if you ask the applicant whether AI is the single burning topic on their minds, they may tell you what really matters for them, right?
