So we'll be looking at high surf, rip currents, things of that nature, and then you usually do have uh really good waves in Hawaii, but it looks like it'll be even better over.

The one to the west should stay to the west, or I should say southwest of Hawaii, I should say to the west of Hawaii at this point.
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
Uh, and and this is likely gonna be one of those seasons we talked a little bit about the the El Nino pattern, the very warm water over the Equatorial Pacific.
At this point, this uh this El Nino will be
uh likely one of the s if if not the strongest, one of the strongest ones uh on record, as long as they've been keeping those records.
So that they counteract that, uh we end up with quieter, cooler conditions in general over uh the Atlantic.
And of course with that comes the strong wind chair as our graphic is showing right now.
And that helps to tear apart any of the storms and it could be any kind of a convective storm.
Even thunderstorms can get torn apart.
Of course you need thunderstorms
eventually uh come together and organize into a tropical system.
But if as long as you have a hostile environment, it makes it much less likely uh for us to have anything significant developing.
But
wanna, you know, not let our guard down just because we are gonna be looking at quieter conditions.
Just last season with Hurricane Melissa in the Caribbean making landfall as the one of the stronger hurricanes in the Atlantic basin in Jamaica.
I think the winds were in excess of 190 miles per hour with much higher wind gusts.
It was a an El Niño year as well, uh, but there's just plenty of fuel to work with the ocean or or the
