He was kind of peeling back a little bit over the blue line and you could just see like he it wasn't he wasn't connecting the dots as much and he wasn't
He was taking so much wear and tear in front of the net.
So we saw what a healthy criter looks like in Anaheim last year and still a very good player.
You know, there are some flaws to his game.
He's not a perfect passer and you know, maybe he's missing dimension that way, but I think for someone who's so so strong in front of the net on the power play and it's such a strength to have him there, you know, for tips, deflections, redirects, but also just has a really good screen.

He brings so much more to the table than just that net front presence because he has so much speed and strength to his game.
So I think that's a really good boost for them because he can really fit anywhere in the top nine.
Like he's not a perfect top liner in today's NHL.
I think he's much better in the middle six, but it I think he could be that last player to balance out of line if needed type thing.
Has the experience and
added more of a defensive side of his game and can kill penalties now.
So I think that versatility is huge for Montreal and plus the familiarity factor in the front office and with Marty Saint Louis who played with Kreider, uh I think it's a huge get for them.
