And I was speaking to another orthopaedic surgeon yesterday who said this idea that running damages your knees is a myth.
Some people's knees are not made for running.
That is absolutely the case.
And if you have issues or if you've had sporting injuries or something that's wrong with your knees, then you do need to be careful.
But for most people, a bit of loading is actually quite good.
It's good for your skeleton.
The impact is good for your skeleton.
And loading is good for you.
I've only started doing it three years ago and it has absolutely been a game changer for me.
It's been transformational.
So I started three years ago and I go to the gym now twice a week and I did not, I was, you know, classic, would not, I wouldn't know what to do in a gym.
You know, the gym to me was somewhere that my,
18-year-old son goes and pumps iron and goes, yeah, mom, I'm doing this.
I didn't know what to do.
And still to this day, if I walked into a gym with machines and things, I actually don't really know what I'd do.
