So in a sense it's a match made in hell.

Um, it sends out a signal, sends out a series of signs that are picked up by people who like to be engaged.
Well I say like, are drawn to be engaged in that sort of relationship.
And so you end up rather than having an intimate
relationship, an intimate, close relationship of two equals, you end up in a kind of a parent child relationship a lot of the time.
And this takes me back to the stuff I was saying before about attachment.
Um if there's rescuing going on repeatedly.
There'll be rescuing in other relationships and they'll be rescuing through history.
And that will continue unless it's directly addressed.
the default will be to pick up somebody else who will require who will want the same sort of treatment.
Well, it's it's really difficult to give advice per se, except this is the sort of stuff that really responds well to to psychotherapy, to counselling.
Because it's not just a case of you know, leave George alone and go with John.
