And some of the things that Eli was talking about were really interesting.
Things like loss of freedom or I'm really busy.
You can design relationships around having all the freedom you want or being very busy and you don't have to move in with someone.
You don't have to have children with them.
You don't have to get married.
You might only see them once a week and that's really great.
That's what I think.
I mean, there's lots of jokes I think in the media and on TV and in old movies about, you know, you get tied down when you get in a relationship.
But I kind of view relationships as very liberating and freeing.
They're a soft place to fall at the end of the day and they're a springboard out into life.
when you need a bit of support.
But, you know, you tailor that to your own needs.
I think if you're independent and you do a lot of things, good for you, you'll find a partner that's going to do that, you know, that'll be the right kind of partner for you where you're like, okay, yep, we're doing this, we're doing that, we're a partner and we're together.
You choose who you rely on.
So maybe you don't want to rely on a partner.
Maybe you want a partner that's totally independent and shows up voluntarily.
I mean, there's something really hot about people who want...
To be there, not need to be there.
That is kind of infatuation and that's kind of what gets you there in the first place.
You get the attraction, there might be something physical going on and hormonally, but I've always said that love is a decision.
