You release those myokines or hope molecules, you release endorphins, you turn off cortisol and the stress response.
So that movement is really powerful with healthy diets.
There's so much that comes from that, not just about weight, but you change your microbiome and how that plays into things with your gut bacteria.
antioxidants.
So all of this is medicine.
The food is medicine.
The exercise is medicine.
And sleep, which unfortunately, you know, so many people take for granted because we think it's this kind of useless time where nothing's happening.
There's so much that's happening in the body and the brain when we sleep.
That's really important for us.
And unfortunately, as I said, that seems to be the thing that goes first.
When people are pulling for time in their life, they cut out the sleep.
Majority of my patients will say they don't get enough at all.
But all of these things are really important for our mental well-being and our physical well-being.
And I, you know, I wish that we did a better job ingraining these habits at a younger age so that people weren't working so hard when they get older to figure out how to start building an exercise and diets, changes and all of that, which is why I'm a huge advocate for starting in childhood, having two children myself, really teaching these lessons early on.
So it just becomes habit and routine.
That's right.
Yeah.
I mean, you realize how strong you are.
