Mostly Altodista became an inflection point for that first wave.

I remember we had a chance to invest in them, by the way.
Don't believe the story that we could have bought them for a million.

Why didn't we do it?
No one had made any money at search.
We thought it'd be better just to hire them as a vendor.
But we saw what happened by like 2003, 2004.
Google came in with a very simple, elegant, user-focused solution, and they stole share from everybody, including Yahoo.
And then over the next 20 years, I have to say, Jordan, I watched the twists and turns of how PageRank evolved, how the rules could change very quickly.
But what I tended to spend most of my time on as a consultant and my post-Yahoo.
