what your father did.
Yeah, he was, he was a building contractor in the UK and then he was, came back to Ireland, semi-retired, went back and then came back and he retired and then as he retired he got more busy or bought a pub and did a bit of development and stuff like that but he was, he was busy until he died 15 years ago so, you know.
That was an unbelievable experience, a cultural experience.
And obviously from a business, because I was very young when I was there and I was kind of given the reins to kind of grow this embryonic business.
It was attached to obviously Digicel, but it was huge.
And so I kind of got to be the entrepreneur in residence, for want of a better word, and kind of drive that out, which was huge.
The culture of all the Caribbean islands,
And the people are phenomenal.
So were Mexico, you know, very different.
And, you know, I was living in Kingston.
So I went from Kingston, which was probably the number one murder capital in the world at the time, to Mexico City, which was the number two capital of the world.
So my choices were always quite out there.
I think, maybe to pick up on one of Roger's points, there's more opportunities opening up than closing down, both from graduates to senior entrepreneurs.
So I think that once you have that opportunity,
If it's an itch that you have to scratch, you just got to get out and do it and get people around you.
I think the most important thing for me has been the people around me on this journey for the last 11 years and very different ones across that journey.
I'm lucky enough to be a finalist this year in the EOY.
And already, you know, our CEO retreat has just opened my eyes to more people who only want good for you and can be mentors and coaches.
So I'm a big believer in entrepreneurship.
And I think that if you have that kind of itch that you need to scratch and you think that it's, you know, I'd also make sure that you knock it off a lot of people early doors and get really good, honest, proper, hardcore feedback.
