The act of creating that little bit of distance can already change your relationship with the emotion.
You can also experiment with a very physical reset ritual.
Such as
Taking a shower, washing your hands and face, changing your clothes, or simply stepping outside for a few minutes after spending time in an emotionally intense environment.
These actions aren't scientifically proven to remove someone else's emotions, but they can work as a personal transition ritual, helping you mentally mark the end of one environment and the beginning of another.
Something as simple as changing your physical surroundings can make it easier to notice what you're actually feeling once the stimulation has settled.
If you enjoy the connection of group meditation, you don't necessarily have to give that up either.
Instead, you can experiment with different groups.
Smaller gatherings, quieter environments, or meditation sessions where there is less emotional intensity and fewer expectations around how you are supposed to feel.
The idea isn't that you need to find a group made up of people with a particular human design configuration, because that would be far too simplistic.
But rather that you can pay attention to which environments consistently leave you feeling grounded and which
Ones tend to leave you feeling overstimulated.
And finally, before you meditate, try doing a quick environment scan.
Give yourself about 60 seconds to notice what you've just been through.
Maybe you were in a crowded place, had a stressful conversation, spent hours answering messages, had a difficult phone call.
Or simply moved through a very busy part of your day.
You don't need to fix any of it before you meditate.
Simply recognizing what you've been exposed to can help you distinguish between your current baseline and the emotional residue you may still be carrying from the environment.
Ultimately, these practices aren't about finding the one perfect meditation technique for your human design.
They're about becoming more observant of your own experience and giving yourself permission to experiment.
