Well yeah.
It's been it's been good.
I mean, that is one thing I could say about being a sober mum.
I am s I know we hate the word being present and journey and all that stuff, but I'm present but I'm present for my fails and my successes.
So
I just like to be there for them, no matter what.
It's nice to know now that if anything happens that I can drive them to the hospital or I can come to their show or I can do anything that they need me to do.
It's not to say that I'm perfect or that I do everything well.
I don't.
I shout too much.
I d don't do cleaning enough.
Like I hate anything like that.
But I am a very present parent and I will look
look back and go, Well, I actually did a good thing.
But yeah, when I was a drinker my kids were so little still.
I had a baby at thirty four, I had a glass of champagne
with in the hospital with my first child and then struggled with trying to moderate for the four years until I had my second child.
I actually decided to have a second child because my anxiety from my drinking was getting so worse, so much worse with the guilt and shame of the hangover.
So I thought, well maybe I'll just have another kid and that will give me nine months of sobriety and that will give me a really good window into start this properly.
or to get a to become a better drinker, which is what I actually wanted to do.
