There's a few that fall by the wayside.

There's some that stay they're amazing and end up being your really solid friends for a long time.

And I think there's some that

want to still be friends with you, but find you now a bit annoying and difficult.

And I realized that that was happening quite a lot in my life.

And I found myself trying to appease those people by continuing to go out with them to events where in fact I wasn't very happy.

And I used to come back.

Whether it was a gig or whether it was someone's birthday or whatever, I would come back feeling so wired and so not able to sleep and feeling almost like I was on drugs, like I'd taken an E or something, that hyped up.

because I was so busy trying to be this person for that person, trying to appease my friends, that I'd completely lost myself and the the putting on an act, as it were, all the time.

kind of made me burn out a little bit if I'm honest.

And as you said in the beginning, we went on that retreat and for the first time I felt what it was like not to feel judged or be judged.

And I think I came back from that, wanting more of that in my day-to-day life.

And realizing that I didn't have those people was very, very hard.

And, you know, I I call it my sober pivot.

There was a point, this point, where I realized it wasn't working for me anymore.

And it was actually making me feel really stressed, really tired and really burnt out.

And I had to change it.

And I remember your wise words.

I know that you have this system, this traffic light system, where you know it's a red light, it's a no-go, it's an amber light, it's a maybe.

And if it's green, it's a safe environment where you can stay for an hour and have a nice time.
