Martin Kemp did say to me in the jungle that he had basically got this acting job where he was a ski teacher.

So his role was being a ski teacher.

They're like, can you ski?

And he was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, I can ski.

Anyway, he shows up on the day filming in Austria or wherever they were.

And it's him and like four other actors who are also being ski teachers.

And then they very quickly realized that none of them could ski at all.

They'd never skied in their whole life.

So what they had to do was for six weeks, they had to get all these private lessons and they were taught how to ski because none of them had learned it for the movie.

So I think there's a lot of bullshitting that goes on.

So maybe he did a bit of ping ponging, but I don't think he was.

I think he looks like the kind of guy who would play ping pong anyway.

So I think he was just doing it.

And it was just a happy accident that this came along, this role.

I don't think he was.

I don't think they were waiting for him for six years to learn the ping pong skill.

There's no fucking way you would learn ping-ponging in six years.

You'd lose interest after day two.
