That's where you need to be a good leader so that a lot of your team, so that you have a better awareness of things come to you, right?

Instead of you chasing information, things can come to you and you're able to design a strategy that will help you tackle whatever it is you tackle because things will hit, but you need that level of awareness within yourself and also within your organization to be able to successfully go through it.

So many things.

But for me, it started with like myself, like that fear of the board.

I overcame it because I joined a board.

So I joined a not for profit board.

So I highly encourage people.

Yes, I highly encourage people, even if you're not in the CISU, wherever you are.

to join a board, like whether it's a board of your professional association, right?

Your ACCA or your AICPA.

Join, try to be in those leadership roles.

So at least you will remove that fear because at the end, we're all human beings.

Like nobody has it figured out.

And so just by starting that, you can establish it's easier to talk to a peer, to talk to, you know, like as a friend, as a partner,

when you've been in those boardrooms.

So whether it's at your current company, how can somebody, you know, help you?

You can shadow someone and say, hey, I just want to, can I just attend a board meeting?

Like looking for those opportunities to put yourself in the board because it helped me when it was time for me as a CFO to show up to a board.

Because the board reviewed the CEO, for example, like I've seen CEO presentations because I was on the board.

I got to have, you know, starting to build relationship with people that were on boards as well to share their experience.
