There has to be an alignment.
with whoever you want to be a mentor.
You can't just go to anybody just because of their type.
There has to be an alignment there.
Like when I was talking about the lady has to be my mentor, you know, I met her at different event and then we went on the lunch date.
It's almost like a relationship, right?
Like you don't go first day.
Okay.
Hopefully not.
But you need to find that alignment because you can't just go the first day and say, we're going to get married tomorrow.
Like it rarely happens.
But you want somebody that really be joyful and not feel threatened by your success.
And you have to be okay with the fact that that person may be there for a season.
You may outgrow your mentors, you know, and it's okay.
So it's not like a mentor forever.
Absolutely.
People come for a reason, right?
There's a reason that person came to your life and you can really learn from them because of that experience.
