And if the trade-off is, well, I wish I was in this miserable relationship instead.
Like if that's the alternative, I'm like, what?
That makes no sense to me.
Well, I always go back to emotional intelligence.
Like if people have the ability to understand their emotions and feel them and they can understand your emotions and feel them,
then that's a relationship green flag for me.
How they do that is different.
That may not look the way people want it to look all the time.
Like I have a soft and cuddly kind of boyfriend.
I think I'm not that person.
I'm pretty hard edged, but I definitely have an ability to think about my emotions and manage them and think about other people's emotions and care for them.
But that doesn't make me nice.
Being nice?
Yeah, I think 100%.
Yeah.
And I think for me, it's actually been fun to expand my emotional vocabulary and to think about the impact on other people and to look for clues in other people that I've actually enjoyed that process.
And I sell that to clients.
I say, have fun, grow it, become amazing at this.
