I see these infographics about it. I see the viral tweets about it, the Instagram posts where people say something like, why can't we just agree to disagree?
And then the leftist response is, yeah, we can agree to disagree on things like soda and pop music, but we can't disagree on fundamental human rights. And there's this idea that the right just doesn't care at all about human beings whatsoever, that the right has no empathy whatsoever. And what this is, is a fallacy. It's the illusion of moral superiority.
It's what these individuals get to do to safeguard themselves from hearing any opinion that isn't exactly their own. They take the moral high ground and say, I'm simply a person who just cares about human rights and you don't. And if you're functioning on that basis in conversation, why have a conversation with somebody who doesn't care about human rights whatsoever? there would be no need.
I shouldn't need to say this, but people on the right do care about human rights and they do have empathy. But let's get back to the clip.
You know, like that's what Elon Musk says, like empathy is like, don't be full of empathy trap. Yes, yes, yes. Stick to your agenda and what's best for you. Holy. Don't start feeling bad for so-and-so. They're on their own thing. Look out for.
Holy mischaracterization. That That's crazy. We need to pause for a second. Don't fall for the empathy trap. What do we think Elon Musk is saying when he says something like that? Is he saying I'm a human being that's completely devoid of empathy whatsoever and I've never felt it in my life?

This is to showcase that they have a superpower that you don't, that they're utilizing at all times and you're incapable of feeling empathy when in reality, human beings develop
empathy and continue to develop empathy in infancy. It's pretty foundational to the human experience. What I think many on the left failed to recognize is that they have a form of suicidal empathy, one that leaves many victims in its wake. And I think that's what Elon Musk was talking about in his video. And I can give you other examples.
Many on the left empathize with illegal immigrants and think that borders should be open and people should be able to move to any place that they see fit, when in reality, that creates victims of all kinds. It's contributed to the drug trade here in this country. It has messed up our economy in a lot of ways. created a housing crisis.
And while the right has empathy for those struggling on the other end of these policy prescriptions, the left is looking at illegal immigrants and having what I would characterize as a suicidal empathy towards them. Let's look at the trans issue. There is a suicidal empathy on the issue of bathrooms.
Now we are arguing that men should be allowed into female spaces, opening up young women and girls to predators. Now men are being ushered into their sports. Women's rights is taking a shift where we used to focus on them, but now we're focusing on men who identify as women and all in the name of empathy. Let's look at fatphobia.
There's a suicidal empathy that leads the left to say things like there is health at any size, even though we know that is not the truth. And it's all because they empathize with those living in bigger bodies, as they call them.
