Chapter 1: What threats are Islamic jihadis posing in Texas?
Islamic jihadis are plotting against you. Why in the hell you think they're in Houston and in north of Dallas? They are working together to overthrow Western civilization. Sharia compounds, which are areas governed by religious rules.
We know who you are, we know what you are, and we know what you're trying to accomplish, and it is not going to happen in the jewel of the crown of the union of this republic. We purge any attempt to impose Sharia law in Texas. They are not coming. They are already here. You are not here properly, and you're going to leave. On the 3rd of March, Sharia law goes on the ballot in the state of Texas.
Chapter 2: How is Sharia law being addressed in Texas legislation?
The United States Constitution and Sharia are fundamentally at odds with one another. We're going to tell them, take your Sharia law and shove it. Islam will never dominate the United States, and by the grace of God... As Texas goes, so goes the nation. As the nation goes, so goes the world. Are you prepared to fight for this state? Are you prepared to fight for your country?
War Room, Texas. Your host, Stephen K. Bannon. Starts right now. It's Monday, 12 January, in the year of our Lord, 2026. We start now, War Room, Texas. It will go at least up to March, I don't know, 3rd, 4th, or 5th. The primary in Texas is the 3rd. And on the ballot is a proposal to ban Sharia law.
We're going to be covering that in detail of experts that know exactly what's going on in Texas, why it's important, and what can be done about it. I'm joined by Debbie Jurgadas, who's a national committee woman for the RNC from the state of Texas. Debbie, you've been one of the ones that have kind of led this movement up to now to really drive this to people's attention.
Tell us exactly in your assessment what is going on in Texas.
In Texas, we've had over the last year, and actually now that we're paying attention to it, it's been much longer than a year, but a noticeable growth in a large number of Islamic communities forming for the first time, seemingly trying to create no-go zones, and a large number of Islamic schools, Islamic mosques, Islamic centers.
All of these mean just a very much enhanced Islamic presence in Texas, really just in very recent years. And it came to the attention of many people because one of the areas which became, do you know, it's epic, East Plain Islamic Center purchased, I think it's 420 acres and planned a Muslim-only community. But that's just a piece of it.
But what the imam in charge up there, Yasir Qadhi, did on YouTube was telling people, hey, we're going to have inviting Muslims to come and try to live there because they were going to essentially have a closed off Muslim-only community. And because he spoke up so boldly, there was a lot of pushback and a lot of attention to it. So there's that piece of it.
There are two members of the Texas legislature who are by background Pakistani Muslims who've been pushing a series of legislative proposals, resolutions and legislative proposals, all of which are incrementally forcing or spreading Sharia, Islamic law, and say Sharia is just inconsistent with the American constitution, inconsistent with the structure of government in America.
So there's a legislature, there's a growth of schools, there's a growth of communities. And other organizations, which we may get into later today, I don't know, but radical organizations are now headquartering themselves, radical Islamic organizations headquartering themselves in Texas.

Chapter 3: What is the significance of the March 3rd ballot proposal?
has become a battle to hold on to Western civilization and their structure of laws and government and the Islamic culture and way of life and its structure of Sharia law that just are incompatible. So many Texans are watching that and trying to preempt that from occurring here.
So Debbie, a couple of things have happened that have been extraordinary. It's one of the reasons why, That you helped us and it came together with the Patriot Mobile Team and others, American Freedom Alliance, to bring Gert over to have Glenn Beck. This thing was extraordinary. We're going to play parts of that over the next couple of days as we kick off War Room Texas. But a couple of things.
Number one. Governor Abbott ā and Governor Abbott has ā I think people in the boardroom possibly understand this ā has exactly been cutting edge on enforcement either on the border incursions during the Biden years or other aspects. But he did come out. So three things have happened that are huge, monumental, and we have to let the nation know they're happening and maybe even some Texans.
Abbott came out and declared the Muslim Brotherhood in Care terrorist organizations. And he did it in this way that was quite detailed. Now, I realize there's a lot of aspects of this that we want to see and other people want to see that actually put some teeth in this. But Abbott did declare before the president of the United States and before Ron DeSantis. So DeSantis followed in Florida.
The president put it up as a study to look at Jordan and different countries around the world and how the Muslim Brotherhood is ā has been a terrorist organization.
I can tell you from the first term of all the things we accomplished, particularly in that historic first year, the one thing I tell people that, you know, from moving the capital or the embassy of the United States to the capital in Jerusalem, historic, One thing we got zero traction on, and I mean zero, was designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
Inside the federal government, it was just a pure beatdown. It wouldn't even be considered. So what President Trump did is historic. But Abbott, number one, has declared in the state of Texas the Muslim Brotherhood and CARE as terrorist organizations. Number twoā
Brian Harrison, the great Texas House representative, comes from the war in Milan, has been at the forefront of defending Ken Paxton and really brought to our attention and helped galvanize the defense of Ken Paxton on the impeachment.
And more importantly, he was the voice that came on and said, hey, we've got to have a special session on the redistricting to get the five seats minimum that is going to be central to President Trump. holding the House and not getting impeached in November of this year. He says, listen, I'm moving immediately.

Chapter 4: Who are the key figures leading the fight against Sharia law in Texas?
Can you walk us through, all three of those are the efforts that we're using the War Room platform to bring Texans in and make sure they have full information from the experts we have, from all that.
But most importantly, it's to galvanize the grassroots like they were galvanized both on the Paxson impeachment and the redistricting effort so that their voices can be heard on what we call kind of the fixed bayonets when you have to kind of nudge somebody in the back to get it done. Can you walk us through your thoughts on how we pull Texas the grassroots.
You've been a leader of this in the state, but how we pull that together to deliver a punch, at least on the 3rd of March. Ma'am.
Yes. Steve, I'm glad you mentioned the effort under President Trump's first term to try to get traction in Washington about the idea of designated Muslim Brotherhood and the larger concern about how many people come to America from countries where Islam as a radical Sharia-based doctrine is in place. And
I think the reason that people, it was hard to get traction in Washington is the same thing we're facing in Texas. Americans have a good-hearted general sense about freedom of religion. They don't want to pick on somebody else. So the failure to understand what Sharia represents, what Islam, what history is, is the reason that you can't get people motivated.
So turning to Texas, starting with the third point about the March 3rd ballot proposition. It's very simple and it's just advisory. It has no, it doesn't become a constitutional amendment. It just says Texas should prohibit Sharia law. So the reason that what I'm doing, the basic motivation I have is to spread understanding of what Sharia is.
Because if you just think it's like the 10 commandments that, you know, the Jews and Christians follow, or it's kind of like the Sermon on the Mount, It is not. Sharia is an entire structure of government. It's designed to replace the Constitution and all of our laws.
And so when you get that understanding what Sharia is, it is a form trying to inflict Sharia on any other country that is not Muslim and didn't ask for it. It's a form of jihad. It's a form of attack. So the understanding of what Sharia is matters greatly and getting people to understand that is very, very important.
And so that's among the things the group I've been working with here in Texas, our primary goal is to continue to spread that understanding so that people know what they're voting for and why they have to know deeply why they should care so much, why it makes any difference. So going back to your first point, I'm very happy that Governor Abbott did make that declaration. He declared

Chapter 5: What role does the comptroller play in managing state finances?
And I've got a constitutional responsibility to make sure that money is being spent properly, effectively. And my goal is to root out fraud, waste, and abuse in over 200 state agencies. And I'm taking the position of any government Any state government or local government that uses Texas taxpayer money, I have a right to audit them. I have a right to find out how it's being spent.
I have 3,000 employees. This position does its own law enforcement division, has over 80 attorneys in-house. And we have 600 auditors. I'm turning most of those auditors loose to audit government because I'm also a business guy. And I know that a dollar we don't spend is another dollar we've saved and we comply to our overburdens and property taxes.
Can this, first, let me go back to the history because of my speech on Friday night. I said the reason that there's a focus on this from throughout the world with these Sharia supremacists is because the great state of Texas, what it's meant in American history and what it means for the American people today, I call it, and I say this as a Virginian, Texas is the jewel in the crown of our union.
But go back to the family, the Cowboys in 1870, the Pioneers in 1870. Even at that time when government was very small, they wanted a financial person in that position or a person in that position that reported to the people of Texas, did not report to the political elite. They could look downrange and understand that this state was going to be huge one day, right?
It was always huge in land, but it was going to be huge in economy. in economic powerhouse. And they wanted somebody there as a guardian for the people, did they not?
Absolutely, they did. Of course, they really did. I mean, they had a lot of foresight for that. And our legislature only meets every other year for 140 days. And they didn't want the legislature signing the checkbook. And they didn't want the executive branch doing that. And in Texas, unfortunately, I always ask this question, who runs Texas? And it's a bureaucratic state.
It's an administrative state. And unfortunately, most of those folks are all Democrats, of course. We saw what happened in Washington when we've been gaslighted forever. And I always say this, no one likes cleaning out the garage, but I plan on doing that. And everyone likes pulling in when it's done. But our heritage is quite clear. And it really is. And we're very independent.
We're very unique. And we're very special. And as you mentioned the other night when I was there, I mean, our brand is second to none. It really is. Everyone in the world knows Texas. There's nowhere you can go on the Earth planet that they haven't seen, like you said, Western movies and things like that. Hollywood made Texas famous. But let me tell you, the Alamo is real. San Jacinto is real.
Those are battles. And then, you know, I like pointing out to people real quick that that wasn't they weren't necessarily military battles at the Alamo and everyone was slaughtered. We all know what Bowie and Crockett. We know that this were battles fought by civilians, civilians that took up arms against tyrants and they were slaughtered. But that's very unique.

Chapter 6: How are Islamic organizations influencing Texas politics?
But this is one of the issues in the analysis that you did and others did for the session we had, the 150 leaders of the grassroots movements that you brought together. It was pretty shocking to me.
the meetings I'd had in Texas on Thursday and Friday, the amount of money that looks like the state of Texas and the federal government, but particularly the state of Texas, has given to some of these situations that kind of fund the backbone of Sharia law. I was stunned at the amount of money. Now, I realize people haven't had a chance to get in there and look.
They're just taking it off of public documentation. But I think Texans, when they understand that, their heads will blow up. They'll say, what exactly in the hell are we doing, ma'am?
Could not agree more. Yes. The data you're talking about really from public record is not a speculation, but it's money coming either from the federal government or from the Texas treasury, but it's all going through the comptroller's office where, uh,
Don Huff, he's running for that office, went through the comptroller, and I think it was since 2016 until now, is something in the range of four beers and boy billion dollars that's made its way to Islamic organizations in Texas.
Now, that doesn't mean that they're all problematic, but I think what happens is money coming state or federal when an organization has a fairly friendly sounding name, and this is not a real name, but just, you know, the happy, happy children in preschool or something like that. There's not close scrutiny. Well, what is this group and who are they really? Is there actually a school?
And my colleague who downloaded and created the spreadsheets we were all looking at and became aware of it, she discovered that some of these institutions that were receiving money, she literally did a drive-by and there's nothing there or it's a warehouse district. So I think there has been a flow of money
to that degree, similar to Minneapolis, where people were just not aware it was going to things that were not appropriate. And even if institutions exist, if those institutions are actually using the money for the purpose intended by the taxpayers, by the government, And then or some of it being shipped off, as was the case in the Holy Land Foundation trial in Texas.
People were raising, donating money, and it was being sent off essentially to support terrorism. So I think some of the comptroller in Texas is a massively important job for someone who can really has the backbone, the determination, the tenacity to dive in and dissect all of it, figure out where it went. Obviously, as a doge, try to cull some of it back if you can.
