Chapter 2: How is the parental rights movement evolving?
It's going to happen. And where do people like that go to share the big line? Mega media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience. Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bann.
It's Saturday, 18 October, in the year of our Lord 2025. Expanded coverage today of The War Room and Real America's Voice. So we're gonna go from Orlando, Florida, where the Moms for Liberty National Convention, and really the railhead of the parental rights movement,
all the way through War Room this morning till noon, and then we're going to toss out the Camp Pendleton Marine Corps 250, Amanda Head. So we've got Solomon and the team, Bo Davidson in Florida, War Room's here in Texas. We're going to be doing a lot of Texas this morning also, and then toss it to Amanda on the West Coast later. So just keep your dial to Real America's Voice all day.
Chapter 3: What challenges do parents face in today's educational landscape?
I want to go to Bo Davidson. In Orlando. Hey, Bo, the schedule today looks pretty impressive. And remember, we always talk about the coalition that we've put together. Obviously, the hardcore, old school MAGA populist nationalists. Then we have the Make America Healthy Again, Nicole Shanahan, Bobby Kennedy.
And then the parental rights movement, which has been just at the tip of the spear of this kind of revolutionary change to take back school boards and to take back education of our kids. Walk us through what happened yesterday, last night, and what we've got on the store today. Yeah, of course. Well, Steve, it's been an action-packed weekend here thus far.
It's amazing to see what Moms for Liberty does. I'll be the first to admit I didn't know a ton about them, and I kind of thought when I came here, okay, I'm not a mom, so what am I doing here? But then I learned that Moms for Liberty is not just about mothers. It's about the entire world. entire parental unit.
Chapter 4: What role does grassroots activism play in the movement?
It's about the nuclear family. And Steve, I think as we think about what Turning Point USA has done for kids, for young adults, this is almost that next step. It's a natural transition to go from TPUSA to Moms for Liberty. Now you have a young family. I became a father, as I mentioned to you yesterday, 20 months ago. These are things I have to start thinking about now.
So you look at the lineup of speakers even today. So Benny Johnson, James O'Keefe, Byron Donald, probably the next governor of Florida, John Amunchukwu, Terry Schilling, Tyler O'Neill, our own John Solomon will be speaking today, Seth Dillon of the Babylon Bee, James Lindsay, Jennifer Say of XXXY Athletics.
You know, they're talking about a lot of different issues, especially things like parental rights in the digital age, screen time. I have to be honest, I'm looking at that now with my own almost two-year-old. In terms of reclaiming the rights of parents in the digital age. Education, obviously, huge. This organization was started by two women who were school board members in Florida.
And they realized what was going on.
Chapter 5: How are political strategies shifting regarding parental rights?
And then you started seeing this movement happen all across the country. Chapters starting in Nassau County, up in New York. And then it went further and further and further. I think it started, Steve, back in 2021. And you think about what's happened in four years. And the things that mothers and fathers know now. that they didn't know before then.
I mean, you've known it, but a lot of parents didn't know it. And so Tina and her team and this incredible team here have inspired, they have empowered, they're educating parents for the next generation.
You know, we were the first, I think, show to pick them up on War Room in early 2021 because we were looking for people that had this intensity that they were going to stand up to what the Biden regime was doing. The Moms for Liberty was one of the first ones out of the box and very, very intense.
But one of the things people are kind of worried about now, it's one of the reasons I came to Texas, is that. Because you have no kings today and no kings. And we're going to follow that throughout the day. There's going to be millions of people.
Chapter 6: What insights do speakers provide on the importance of community?
I doubt it. But some folks are saying, hey, the since people so love Trump and are so focused on Trump, that Trump's hitting President Trump's hitting on all cylinders. And we're going to get into a little later the geopolitics and capital markets of what he's doing that that.
Since Trump is everywhere every day for these historical moments, that the grassroots, you know, kind of some people are leaning on their rakes. And they're looking for where's the intensity of the grassroots, particularly as we build up to 2026. Talk to me. You got great speakers down there. Talk to me about the rank and file. How are the actual moms?
Because these people have been fire breathers. I mean, they created... a movement that really came out of the pandemic. It came down to shutdowns. These moms who were, many of them not MAGA, in fact, many of them were kind of never Trump, saw what was being teached when their kids were sent home, they started going on the computer and say, wow, that's not what I was taught when I was a kid.
What's the intensity of the rank and file down there?
Chapter 7: How does the movement address issues of truth and misinformation?
Well, you know, as you said, in the pandemic, it was a watershed moment. A lot of parents got woken up. And I'll tell you this, and not to be confused with the word woke, of course. I think we have to use a different word for that. We may have even reached peak woke.
I was talking with some folks yesterday who believe, as you look at some of the transgender movement, we've seen that study that says that it's maybe been cut in half, that maybe we have reached peak woke. I don't know what you think about that, Steve. I'm certainly hoping that that's the case. But then I interviewed Ryan Walters yesterday. I interviewed Ryan Walters yesterday.
You may remember him. He was the Oklahoma school superintendent. He has now created an alternative to teachers' unions. And I mean ā and I talked to him about it, and he was just ā it was ā you talk about the intensity and the inspiration. He's just now giving teachers ā my mom was a public school teacher, Steve, for 38 years.
Chapter 8: What future plans are discussed for the Moms for Liberty movement?
He's given teachers an alternative now to say you don't have to be choked by Democratic politicians in the teachers' unions anymore. And he's offering an alternative. It's a new alliance. I think that's inspiring. So you're seeing AI even being used for activism here. Moms are being very, very vigilant.
And you mentioned it, I think, very, very apropos is no one can sit back on their laurels right now just because President Trump is wheeling and dealing every single day. I think you have to take the movement now and put it into overdrive. And that's what Moms for Liberty is doing. And I've got to say this, too. It's for dads.
Pastor John Amanchuku, Graham Allen, Benny Johnson moderating a whole panel on fatherhood. If you're a dad, you can come here, too. And I think it's very, very important to recognize what fatherhood is, myself being included in that mix, that it's not just for moms here, that dads are getting included, too. So we have a lineup. Here's what we're going to do, Bo. You're there to do interviews.
You let us know if anybody, get guys coming by. We'd love to get some of those interviews. We also have so many major hitters. Our own John Solomon is going to give one of the keynote addresses. You got James O'Keefe. You got Benny Johnson. You got Byron Donald. So there's pipe hitters. All day long. And we're going to go to the main stage to hear some of the speeches.
Also, Tina Deskovitz is going to kick it off. And President Trump's in a special video to see it. So for the audience, we're going to be dipping in and out of Orlando, Florida, with our anchor, Bo Davidson, throughout the morning. Bo, thank you so much. As soon as you got somebody, let my producers know. We'll come back to you guys.
Absolutely, and I think we do have Byron Donalds at 1.30, but you might have already flipped over to coverage for Marine 250, but we'll make sure we make that interview available to you as the day progresses. I don't know. I think one of that you might slide in.
I told my producer this morning, make sure Amanda knows, because throughout the day and for the Real America's Voice audience, I know we're streaming entirely, but for the main channel, you got so many great people down there. We got to figure out some way to juggle this. It's just intense. And doing these sidebar interviews is fantastic. We're the official media sponsor for Moms for Liberty.
So we'll juggle through the day. But thanks for anchoring down in Orlando. Bo Davidson. Yeah, you bet, Steve. So here, it's kind of the trifecta today. I came to Texas because Texas is the railhead of kind of the MAGA movement and the MAGA grassroots, the Populist Nationalist grassroots. There's a lot of issues going on here in Texas.
Texas monumentally in this term took the first shot in the redistricting war. And this came from, not from Abbott, he's trying to take credit now, and hey, he's a politician, he's allowed to do that. But it really came driven by the grassroots. And to be brutally frank, the grassroots, a lot of this organized around the political action group around Patriot Mobile.
