Chapter 1: What prank are the hosts pulling for the birthday celebration?
Hi, I'm Dani Shapiro.
We were in the car, like a rolling stone came on, and he said, there's a line in there about your mother.
And I said, what?
What I would do if I didn't feel like I was being accepted is choose an identity that other people can't have. I knew something had happened to me in the middle of the night, but I couldn't hold on to what had happened.

Chapter 2: How do the hosts explain their unique phone tap concept?
Your donation will put cash directly in the hands of these families in need. And they'll get to decide how to use it, whether that's school transportation, purchasing livestock, or starting a business. Plus, if you're a first-time donor, your gift will be matched by giving multiplier, which means more money for those in need. Visit givedirectly.org slash happiness lab to learn more and to donate.

Hi, I'm Radhi Devlukia, and I am the host of A Really Good Cry podcast. This week, I am joined by Anna Runkle, also known as the Crappy Childhood Fairy, a creator, teacher, and guide helping people heal from the lasting emotional wounds of unsafe or chaotic childhoods. Talking about trauma isn't always great for people. It's not always the best thing.
About a third of people who are traumatized as kids feel worse when they talk about it, get very dysregulated. The progressive media darling whose public meltdown got her fired.
And the massive TikTok boycott against Target that actually makes no sense.
Chapter 4: Who is the birthday person being pranked and how do they respond?
You won't hear about these online stories in the mainstream media, but you can keep up with them and all the other entertaining and outrageous things happening online, in media, and in politics with the Brad vs. Everyone podcast. It's Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning, and on this show, we pride ourselves on coming up with pranks that are unique, different, and highly creative. Yeah. But not this one.
Oh.
We've done this idea three different times to three different people already.
You know what? If it's Brooke, don't fix it, Jeff.
Yeah, because it's simple, and we always get a funny reaction where we call someone and say, we're one of his 800 Facebook friends, and we want to wish him a happy birthday.
Yeah. I do love this concept. It really is.
Even though we've never actually met before or even spoken to them, they are super important in our lives. And that's what we do in your phone tap right now.
It's another phone tap. Weekday mornings on the 20s.

Chapter 5: What surprises does the prank reveal about the caller's identity?
Oh, my God. Thanks. Who's this? It's your birthday, man. Yeah, it is. Yeah. Not at work. It's Clint from Facebook. So you work at Facebook?
I'm a little confused.
No, that's good. No, you accepted my friend request in 2015. Remember? I don't. Oh, well, don't worry. I remember. I sure do. It was highlight of my year, actually.
No.
Okay, so you're being serious?

Chapter 6: How do the hosts escalate the prank with additional surprises?
100%. And by the way, those Cabo pics that you posted from your trip in 2022, that looked like such a good time. You have to tell me, like, how was that hotel? Hey, Clint. Yeah. I'm at work right now, so maybe you could send the birthday greeting on Facebook, since that's how we know each other.
I know I've done that in other years, so I just thought, this time, why not just call you up directly and, like, wish you happy birthday face-to-face? Put a little personal touch on it. Well, we're on the phone, but... Right. Well, sorry, you know what I mean. Yeah, that's you. You're always calling me out. I love that about you.
You and I have never had an interaction, pal, so you've got to put yourself in my shoes. This is a little unnerving, getting a call from somebody I don't know who says they know me from Facebook, and I can't be sure. I hear you loud and clear there, pal, but again, you're saying that we're not friends. We are Facebook friends. That doesn't mean so much to me. It sounds like it means more to you.
Well, yeah, it does.
Chapter 7: What humorous moments occur as the prank unfolds?
Actually, you know who it means probably the most to is Deb. I don't know if you're joking with me right now. You don't remember Deb? You became Facebook friends with her in 2013. Hey, Clint, if I tell you I don't remember somebody, I'm not lying to you. I don't know who. I don't know Deb. Well, I have a little surprise for you, bud. Hey, Deb. Deb. I don't. No. Deb. I don't want to talk to you.
Get over here. I don't want to talk to anybody. Hey. You're not going to believe who is on the phone right now. What? Who?
Chapter 8: How does the prank conclude and what is the birthday person's final reaction?
It's Rodney from Facebook. No. What?
I'm at work.
Rodney? Rodney. Yeah, it's his birthday. Oh, my God. Happy birthday, Rodney. Hey, Rodney. Oh, my God. Hey, it's Deb. Hi. I don't know you. What? When Clint said he was gonna surprise you with this, I was like, I'm in! Did he tell you that I don't know him either? I don't know either one of you. I don't know why you're making this call. He's just as funny as he is on Facebook. Yeah, what'd he say?
He said he didn't know us. Like, I haven't liked every one of his pictures for the last five years. Man, I'm not even on, I haven't been on my Facebook account in three years. Like, who's even using Facebook? Okay, you can stop joking around now. It's just us. Like, we didn't just get the notification that it's your birthday. Duh, only the closest friends get that. No, everybody gets that.
Everybody that you love. Yeah, sure. Listen, I'm at freaking work right now, and I don't have time for this, man. Okay, so do you want us to, like, come over so that we can all celebrate together? No. I mean, I know Deb's not supposed to drink anymore on her lunch breaks, but she could probably make an exception this time, right, Deb? Party! All right. So I've just cleared up.
You still work at that insurance place, right, over on 45th? What? We'll meet you out in the parking lot. Oh, right next to your blue Acura.
What's happening?
Oh, my God. Party by his blue Acura. How the f*** do you know what I drive? We'll be there in like 20 minutes just chanting your name. You'll be able to hear us. Rodney! Rodney! Rodney! I'll be drinking some mugs! Good! I don't know how you guys know where I work or what I drive, but this is completely f***ed up. I want to be clear with you.
I do not want you coming to my place of employment, and I don't even want you on my Facebook. Okay, okay.
