Elizabeth Sherman, Executive Health Coach, has helped hundreds of people achieve optimal health through staying consistent, getting a little bit better every day, and having self-compassion on those days when we thing we 'should' be more. What makes some behaviors stick even when it gets hard (ex. eating healthy even while on vacation) versus habits that slide right off at the first sight of difficulty? In this episode she shows us how to actually create habits that stick, explains why sheer motivation or even creating an environment for success (ex. laying out your workout clothes the night before) aren't the keys. She tells us what the number one thing is when it comes to actually creating habits that work. We talk specifically about health but what you learn can be extended into any habit that you want to create for your life. Habits = energy preservation = ease & flow in life
