I am not going to the game this weekend. I think I told you we did not get our season tickets this year. I know you did not get season tickets.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't – like, I made this mistake. I got, you know, married, had the house, the kids, and, like, all of a sudden it was like I was not – part of the university at all anymore, like my alumni. And I did exactly what you did.
What personal stories and seasonal plans do the hosts share about football and tailgating?
I remember when Brandi and I were first married, and we had it in the budget, and we had season tickets, and this was when Kentucky was, well, they're not great right now, or at least maybe they, who knows, right? Who knows? Okay, who knows? But at the time, I mean, if the stadium was 50% full, we had Alabama coming in the house or something like that. And so we had ridiculous seats, and we put in the budget. We only had two and so forth. And then we had our first child. That was impossible to keep. And so not only from a time perspective, but from a budgetary perspective. So we got rid of them. And then years later, we finally got our four back. You got your groove back.
Yeah, I got to still go. I love football season. I'm so excited. We're cutting this before. I mean, tonight, I think, is like the first actual Power 5 conference game. Oh, yeah. That's happening. So it's exciting.
It's going to be exciting. And the fall temps are coming in.
Oh, it's amazing. And the weather is great.
And I just can't wait. It's a 1245 kickoff, though. So that's not going to be great.
Do you have a go-to tailgate food that you make when you're playing?
No, we try to switch it up all the time because we – and my wife has really gotten into this of late. So she'll be like, number one, it starts with how many people we know are going to be there. So if it's a small group, then we'll do something easy. But if it's like 25, 30 people, which is totally not uncommon for us – I mean, we'll do like a big old, you know, Mexican spread. Like, okay, bring different meats. We'll do quesadillas maybe on the Blackstone or something or whatever. I mean, yeah, we just go crazy. This time, my wife's out of town, so it's going to be my son, my nephew, and a buddy of my son's. And we're probably just going to get like wings or something, pick them up and bring them out and so forth.
I love football season. I know. I can't wait.
