How does data-broker advertising and Aura protection relate to this episode?
Most people don't realize how much of their personal information is being bought and sold every day. Data brokers are making billions pulling details about you from public records and the internet, then packaging and selling it, usually without your consent. That's how your information lands in the hands of scammers, spammers, even stalkers. That's where Aura comes in. Aura actively removes your data from broker sites and keeps it off. They also instantly alert you if your information shows up in a breach or on the dark web. But Aura goes beyond data protection. With one app, you get a VPN, antivirus, password manager, spam call protection, dark web monitoring, and even up to $5 million in identity theft insurance.
All backed by 24-7 US-based fraud support. Other companies might just sell credit monitoring or just a VPN. Aura gives you all of that together at the same price competitors charge for just one service. Start your free trial today at aura.com slash prevent. Protect yourself now at aura.com slash prevent.

All right, I am sucking down a cough drop because I am struggling with a cold, which is so frustrating. You are dying a little bit. I have not been sick at all in 2025. Literally the other day as I was driving home from New York, my poor mother was in the car with us, and she's just coughing. I thought we were going to have to stop at urgent treatment, and I'm thinking there goes my streak for 2025 of not being ill. Well, welcome to 2016. So anyways, I'm really struggling with a cold, so I apologize. Last episode, we talked about putting the margin to work first and foremost for fast cash and emergency fund. Now we're to the fun part. I don't know if it's really fun, but we're to the most important part of margin, which is to start using that margin to paying off debt.
That's exactly right. And one of the things that a lot of people struggle with is where to begin. Let's say that most people have multiple credit cards, they have student loan, they have auto loan, they ultimately have maybe a mortgage, all these different loan payments, and it can become overwhelming. So do you look at the interest rate you're paying? Do you look at Things that are not assets like, you know, cards, store cards, et cetera. First, you look at the auto loan, the student loan. I mean, where do you even begin in this process, Logan, when you're starting to finally get to the stage of paying off debt?
It can be super overwhelming, but stage one is how much debt do you actually have?
Bingo.
It's figuring out the exact dollar amount that you have. I have college students that I mentor and talk to, and they're like, I'm just concerned about this debt I have.
