I'm in my middle-aged woman era, I fear, because I've recently been getting into bird watching.

This is amazing.
I learned about this new app. It's called Merlin. Not a sponsor, but honestly, go get it. Merlin ID, I think something like that, where you can hit record and it will listen to the bird sounds around you and come up with pictures of like, oh, that's a cardinal and that's a whatever. This morning, I was on my morning walk, and I found a new bird. And I'm feeling stoked about it. This bird is the, like, eastern part of the United States.

It's called—and these are not that uncommon, to be clear. But I was hyped because I got to log it. A tufted titmouse. Is the name of the bird. They're like bluish gray.

And their sound. I wonder if maybe Steve can insert the sound. But it sounds like it says Peter. Peter, Peter, Peter, Peter. So cute. That's amazing. And so I stopped my walk.
What birdwatching anecdotes did the hosts share and why does it matter?
I recorded the bird. It gave me like a token. I'm in this.
Okay. I actually, I love this because long time ago, I got for my youngest son, one of those suction cupped bird feeders that go on the window in front of our breakfast area, breakfast, lunch, and dinner area, but we call it a breakfast area. And we fill it with bird seed and tons of birds come to that.
This is huge, Quinn.
And so for Christmas this year, and I just tried to pull it up, but it looks like for some reason it's offline. My son got one of these bird feeders that has a camera on it. And through an app, you can log in and you can watch the bird eating at the bird feeder.
That's what I need.
It is amazing. It is so cool. Now, we don't go as far as identifying the sounds or whatever. And we basically have cardinals and something else. I don't even know what else.
Robins, probably.
Yeah, probably. All that come to our bird feeder. We also, this is the last I'll say about this, put out a hummingbird feeder on another window. Took a while, took a while, but finally they found it, and we had hummingbirds coming to our breakfast nook as well. Awesome.
Yeah.
It was so cool.
I think the new place I live in the spring, there are a ton of trees behind our house, apartment, townhouse, whatever you want to call it. So I've just been amazed by how many different birds there are. To your point, they're always like the same four, hence why I got really excited today. I like it. To unlock a new one.
I think that's neat.
I'll keep the people posted. I don't know how long this will be like my obsession, but so far I've been having a great time.
Well, that's good. I mean, we have gone... Let's see. We have moved... From, not from, I am sure you're still doing it, the hours outside.
Oh, still doing it.
And we have moved into.
That's why I'm liking birds now.
And we have moved into the espresso making.
