DIY Money. What's shaking, Howard? Not a whole lot. You missed some snow. Oh, I got back for it. Were you back for the snowpocalypse of 2025?
No, I mean, we were out of town. Well, I managed to leave town. There was a 12-hour gap between the first major snow and the second snow, and they cleaned the airport, and they were only releasing flights down to Atlanta, and I got on one. Literally, I was supposed to fly in the morning. That got canceled, totally canceled, and I was flexible enough to rebook. Later that afternoon, and then fly through Atlanta, yada, yada. I ended up getting out. It was fine. And then we got pummeled again. But yeah, this is miserable.
It's terrible. I was talking to one of our clients in Georgia, southern Georgia, like two days ago. And she was saying that a lot of people there saw snow for the first time because they got a few inches.
We have friends down in the Pensacola region. There was snow on the beach.
Should not be the case.

Ain't nobody got time for that.
I mean, you know, they made a critical error, in my opinion, when they called it global warming. They should have just called it climate change. Because even over my... It's anecdotal, and I know I've read studies on both sides, and I have people say, well, this is... I mean, it's just like a hundred-year cycle, and we go through this. And then I have people say, like, no, we're, like, absolutely destroying the planet, and whatever. I'm not going to get into those debates. I'm not smart enough to know. But I will know that... I will tell you that in my... my small life of 47 years, my small little life compared to the hundreds and billions of years that this planet has been here. I, I can tell there's a change like, like, like I've never seen snow.
I've never seen photos of snow on the beach in orange beach or Pensacola, Florida. So that's a change. We got some climate change going on. I mean, again, whether it's in a hundred year cycle and it's, you know, not, not to be concerned about, or we should be definitely, you know, we should definitely be concerned. I don't know, but it's a change.
There should be no snow on the beach. There, I said it.
Oh, my goodness. It was wild.
Do you have crazy travel plans this year?
So I don't. I don't have crazy travel plans. But he is crazy. But I have some things on the horizon. But nothing. I mean, no, I don't have crazy plans. You?
I'm hoping to go to Banff National Park. It's in Canada. But I'm not sure. We haven't figured out logistics yet. And it's kind of a mess. I might have to talk. Have you been to Canada? Yeah. Okay. I might have to talk to you about the rental car situation.
Oh, I don't know anything about that.
Because there's some sort of like you can't, from what I've read, and this could be wrong, you can't rent a car in the U.S. and then drop it in Canada. Like you would have to return it to the U.S.
and vice versa.
Oh, I'm sure that's the case. But the original plan was to fly into Montana, rent a car, drive from there, do a little road trip, and then fly out of Banff. So we're figuring it out, but it'll be awesome and cold.
Yeah, I don't know. I would imagine every company probably has that kind of rule, but no idea. Why not just fly into Banff and be done with it?
Because flights are so expensive.
But it's cheaper to fly into Montana, rent a car, blah, blah, blah, all that thing.
I mean, we would probably need to rent a car either way because we want to see a lot of the park. And it was cheaper to fly into Montana, rent a car from there than to fly round trip to Banff. Got it. It was interesting. But I also haven't checked flights in a while. So maybe that's not the case anymore.
Well, that'll be exciting. When are you targeting doing that?
I'm hoping for late summer while it's relatively warm there, like beginning to mid-August, hopefully.
