Yeah, three days until the big race. I'm excited. I wish I kind of never told anybody about it. I'm at that stage right now. I never thought too much about that because I'm just such an open and transparent person. Everybody seems to know everything about my life because I just tell it. I don't really give them anything to hide. But now it's like, oh, I wish I didn't tell because everybody's like, Oh, when's your race? When's your race? How are you doing? But I can say, you know, the body's healthy.

The training is in. The mind is right. I'm going to do the best job I can do. And I feel really good about the weather. The weather is supposed to cooperate, which is amazing. And I say that like I could give you an entire, you know, epilogue about. really what that means we're gonna do our best in a little david goggins action i'm gonna you know but i'm gonna do my best that's what i'm gonna i'm gonna leave it at that but you also have a big trip coming up yes are you excited did you nail down i mean i'm not gonna lie nothing's been nailed learn how to speak canadian
I left the podcast last week and I said to my wife, I'm like, I'm a little concerned about Allie. She's like flying across country to visit another country, literally across the country to go to another country.
And she has no plans. It's true. Well, you'll be encouraged. Last night we had our mandatory get on this FaceTime. Let's figure this out, Cole. And I'll tell you exactly what happened. And 50% of the people showed up. Well, everyone showed up, but we spent the first 20 minutes roasting each other. And then we spent 20 minutes reflecting on our last trip and how awesome it was and all the funny stories and I can't believe when you did this and that kind of thing. And then we spent 20 minutes on logistics. And so now we have officially decided who's bringing the tent, which is a big thing to check off. And we figured out we have a layover in Denver. So the main logistics thing we were trying to figure out is one of the girls has a new boyfriend that we haven't met.
So we're trying to figure out how during our layover in Denver, we can meet him who will be dropping her off at Denver. Because that's our little rendezvous point. And we're going to see if he'll bring us a Marg so we can get to know him in 30 minutes. And then we're going right back through security, back on the plane. That is a terrible idea. I told Katie, I was like, here's what's going to happen. We're going to get off... go through the gates like get out of security to meet her boyfriend she has tsa pre-check she's gonna make the flight and we're gonna miss the flight i do not like this idea this is a terrible idea that was what we spent most of our time for logistics talking about i'll be honest but we don't know where we're hiking you don't know where you're hiking we don't know where we're staying i know you gotta book the campsites okay we got the campsites booked
We did do that. Well, that's a huge, that's a big step. Yeah, we have the campsite. Well, the rest is just whatever trail you want to go on. We are working on getting a rental car, and it's going to be great.
