That checks out. Yeah, because I am like, I control. I don't let you speak. So give me an update. What's going on in your world?
Well, we are, holy cow. Oh, I just popped a bubbly. Yeah, we are buying a house. La Croix.
La Croix. La Croix. La Croix. We're going on vacation. Then we're coming back from vacation. Then we're buying a house. Then we're buying a puppy. Yeah, do you, where did you find your money tree? I don't, it's not there. I'm just broke now. It's ridiculous.
So you're going on vacation, and this is the vacation where you're going down with the in-laws? In-law vacation, yep.
Like old people gone wild.
And it'll be great, and we'll have the nieces and all the little ones running around.
You know I'm bald, and it's not genetic.
Yeah, yeah. I'm starting to thin a little bit. Yeah, yeah, I noticed. I feel 50. All right, when do you close on the house? August 4th. All right, that's exciting. August 4th, I think might be the day this episode comes out. Have you done the inspection yet? All the inspection, pretty good. Got a little bit of like a credit from the lender, or not from the lender, from the seller. Will you actually do the things? There's one thing I'll definitely do. Which is? The expensive thing. There's like a part of the wall that connects that needs what's called flashing. Oh, yeah.

Man, it is—you go through all the steps, and this is a learning process.
You know, there's a little bit of age-old wisdom. People who bought and sold houses already know this. When you go to sell your house, you'll do this someday, is, like, go through the inspection, and they'll give you, like, here's 12 things. And usually those 12 things can go, like, listen, we'll take $5,000 off. And they'll be like, okay, don't do the 12 things. I mean, unless it's obviously a big ordeal.
Yeah, if it's really an important thing.
But I remember, I'll never forget, like the first time I sold a house, there was like this punch list. And so we had to do the punch list, and we did the punch list. Then they brought a guy back in, and we were like on pins and needles. And then the guy was like, why didn't you just give him $2,000 that it cost you to do this? I was like, wait, you can do that? He's like, yeah, you can do that. So from then on, it was like, here's the list. Okay, what do you think about $5,000 in closing? Yep, great, done, done. And then they never do it. That's kind of how our sellers were. They never put the GFI in the kitchen, blah, blah, blah. Oh, we're missing one in the bathroom. Anyways, well, that's exciting stuff.

And a puppy, by the way. Wait, let's not detract from that. A puppy?
Ugh.
I mean – I figured out. So I've learned this. My wife is amazing. Awesome. I love her so much. And she is – she's a projector. She has to have a project. Yeah. And she just got done with school, which was the project for the last two years. And I figured out if she doesn't have a project, I'm her project. So now we have a project, and it's amazing.
So this is – yeah. I will be interested to hear about the puppy. Yep. This will be fun because you both are going to be driving. Okay, so here's the good thing about the puppy.
She has four and a half months with no work. Oh, okay. From now until she gets accredited, she gets credentialing, she does other things. So she won't start work until November.
