Logan. Quint. That was pretty fire. Yeah, we got it right back. Wow, that's really nice.
So tell me about your race. Oh, man. Oh, come on. I had the great privilege of going down to Austin, Texas.
The enchanting Texas hill country. Wow.
A unique town. Very unique town. Oh, yeah? Yeah, it was a unique town. That's all I'm going to say. Interesting town. I mean, I enjoyed it.
What recent races and fitness routines do the hosts discuss?
I enjoyed it. I mean, I kind of went in for a race. But I went in for a race, a half marathon. I'm halfway kind of through my training plan for my big race, which is in April. For those of you that are following along, I ran in September a marathon. I absolutely hit my goal. But then I was snubbed by Boston Athletic Association to the tune of 24. seconds i'm not bitter but anyways i'm going to run the same marathon again in april and try to absolutely demolish my time love it so the goal this uh weekend the stretch goal the a goal was to break 90 minutes um and i got 129 57 So it was like six fifties or something like that per mile. Um, I was very pleased with the race. I felt good. Um, yeah, so I was very happy and, and I'm on pace.
So, you know, the goal for the marathon is three Oh five. Um, I've always been reluctant to throw these goals out there, but I'm not reluctant now. I'm throwing it out there. Darn it. You can hold me accountable. My friends on Strava that are DIY moneyers. I mean, we have gotten, if you are on Strava and you run, hit me up and let's connect because I have run with DIY money people. Yeah. All over the country, yeah. And, and then I ran when I was in New York city and I ran central park and a guy pinged me and said, man, I wish I would've known you were there. I'm a DIY money fan. I, I, that's my route. And I was like, oh, I was like next time. So anyways, uh, great DIY money contacts through the Strava on the running community, but it was a great race.
I'm glad to be home. Took a couple of days off back at it. Well, congratulations.
Thank you. My fitness journey is getting more intense. This is kind of sarcastic to a degree, but every week on Thursday, I'm now playing full court basketball. Oh, yeah. That is a different kind of shape. Absolutely. And I'm not there. Yeah. So I am realizing it very quickly.
And you are 28?
Yes.
Okay. At 28, the body still goes where you want it to go. Sure. But there's going to be a point. I hope you keep doing this. Yeah. I stopped playing in my 30s. Okay. And I loved basketball, as you know. I played a lot. But my body and my brain would say, like, cross over through the legs and go to the left. Sure. That's what my brain would say.
Okay.
My head would go there, but my body was still trying to do the crossover. It was stupid. And your body just doesn't... And then something inevitably would get injured because I'm doing some dumb move that I can't do anymore. And then I'd get mad. It's called gravity. Gravity. and it's coming for you. So linear running is what I, but I will live vicariously through you. Is this a church league? It's a church league, yeah, basically. Oh, boy. I had to stop doing church leagues. You know why? I'm fighting words. Too intense? Oh, yeah. I mean, fights are breaking out and cursing. I mean, it was the farthest thing from a worshiping experience, I'll tell you that much. I'm like, I can't be in this church league anymore.
I'm going to kill somebody. Anyways, all right, we got a question today. First of all, some housekeeping odds and
Most people don't realize how much of their personal information is being bought and sold every day. Data brokers are making billions pulling details about you from public records and the internet, then packaging and selling it, usually without your consent. That's how your information lands in the hands of scammers, spammers, even stalkers. That's where Aura comes in.
